When I think of what this page is meant to be, thoughts of wind-borne slips of paper, messages in bottles, and sky lanterns come to mind. This is the world I have seen and experienced, and my wish is to share some piece of that with any that may pass by.
I am glad for the opportunities to explore the world both near and far. From the sure world of streetlight spotlights, I reach out to the darkness beyond, the unknown, the unfamiliar. Curiosity and a doubtful step is where Stubbornly Buoyant begins.

MY PRINTS
I appreciate the small and precious moments found in our everyday life. My images are a snapshot of my life as part of our greater community, and I am enamored by the spaces we all share.
I will rotate my gallery periodically, but feel free to reach out for any specific requests. Prints are also available.
MY PROSE
In service to the scene as it unfolds, I find that words to accompany are sometimes needed to find the image's fullest expression. Rough, without lines and stanzas, this is my take, my journal entry in that moment.

I am here after years of weekend garage sales with my father, a carpenter, and the beliefs that he instilled in me over the years. Mainly, that craftsmanship is an art, history is precious, nature is a part of us, everything we own is a gift, and that all good things are possible through faith.
